Our Story
Reginald Johnson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of R Johnson Community Services, Incorporation (RJCS). The Organization was originally formed in May, 1984 and was created for the charitable purposes of exposing youth to athletic, mentoring and creating community service opportunities.
RJCS is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. For over three decades, R Johnson Community Services, Inc has partnered with organizations such as, Brother to Brother, Leap Transition, and various other organizations to assist youth with their development into citizens of positive social change.
R Johnson Community Services, Inc. acknowledges that strong moral values are the guiding principles, which underlie every program decision to provide meaningful social, civic and leadership opportunities.

Empowering youth to reach their full potential.
Our overall mission is to encourage and nurture our youth to develop their skills academically, socially, emotionally and physically; in order to reach their full potential.

Program Objectives
• Provide field-based experiences, service learning, and other experiential opportunities.

Promote youth to become intellectual scholars, gain athletic skills, and become citizens with personal and social responsibilities.

Improve student's achievement and academic success as demonstrated by grade point averages, promotions, and graduation rates.

Encourage the development of leadership skills to increase opportunities for students to find leadership positions within the educational setting, and the community at large.
